Everyone on set is here is fabulous and thereās always a ton of giggles (or muffled giggles lol poor audio team in editing).
Anwar Khursheed never ceases to amaze meā¦ every time he plays youāre swept off your feet by each note. For those of you who donāt know him, Anwar Khursheed (http://www.anwarkhurshid.com) is a very famour sitar player and is also the one that taught Mike Myers to play for his role in the movie Austin Powers. He just sits there for hours, making sure we look good, playing on his sitar, serenading us all with his music. You can really feel how he plays that sitar with his heart and soul.

For those of you who didn’t have a chance to catch it on Rogers this past Saturday, here’s the online version ā¤
Iāve said it time and time again: I love working with Avex Studioz/Shutter Imagez cause thereās always something new and exciting ā plus theyāre just kickass people with a whirlpool of talent and ideas š
A couple weeks ago we had another shoot with Avex Studioz but this time with a little twistā¦ This time Gurpreet wanted me to play the lead girl š® š
I was super excited because this was one of the last few things left on my lifeās āto-doā list, Iād been working out really hard for the past few months and was happy with the progress that Iāve made so far, I even flew to Calgary to do a video late December 2012 but while I was there decided it wasnāt right for me and flew home (somethingās just are not worth it).
At the same time I was EXTREAMLY nervous because I didnāt want to disappoint anyone ā especially Gurpreet who would have a nightmare going through and editing if it wasn’t all that wonderful, I was afraid of looking like a cow or just not pretty once the video was completed and I didnāt want to look awkward in terms of my āactingā skills lol. We had done a couple short step-in rolls before and I remembered how awkward it felt and how many times we had to reshoot things for other videos :$
So excited and nervousā¦. I was just trying to keep my cool throughout and just not thing about it all lol :$
At first, I wasnāt sure if having my boyfriend there was going to make me more nervous or be helpful but it was definitely the smartest move (thaaaaannnkkkk you jaan <3)! Majority of the shots were of me on the phone and it was sometimes hard to keep a genuine smile and seem flattered throughout the whole shoot so he was actually on the phone talking to me, being sweet and I just had to listen and react :$ :$
Cutest thing ever, heās absolutely amazing ā¤ It made being on set so much easier, funner and smoother than I could have ever imagined.

I honestly have a new profound respect for actors! How they do the scenes they do so well and intense with cameraās in their face is beyond meā¦ that takes some serious talent & focus!
If there’s one team that always seems to impress me, it’s got to be Avex Productions and Shutter Images. From Commercials to Wedding Highlights to Music Videos… they always go above and beyond any expectations that I have.
It doesn’t matter if it’s 30*C on set or -10*C… it’s always such a blast working with Gurpreet, Taran and the talent that the weather is the last thing on our mind (and when it is – you’ll find me doing laps around the set to keep warm LOL).
Last time on set I had the opportunity to meet upcoming talent Romie Gill and let me just say, I fell in love with the track right away. Not only does Romie have an amazing voice live, he wrote the track himself and is so down to earth (you should have seen how shy he was in front of the camera! haha). Can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us š (video at the end of this post)
Not only was I hair and makeup for Day Two, I also had the opportunity to try my hand at some basic photo & video with onsite training from Gurpreet lol. Hey, some of them actually came out pretty alright š
Check out the shots and the full video release below xox
Ok Fun’s over – Let’s leave the rest up to the reaalll professionals š :
